How Is This Different Than Seeing A Primary Care Doctor Covered Under My Insurance?
With regular doctors under insurance you have probably sat in the waiting room as they run behind to see you, your visit is hurried usually about 20 minutes long and there are no preventative healthcare measures taken. At our practice we want to know you, your family, your history and your chart inside and out. We want to care of you like we would our own families.
We are able to use your health insurance for any lab work we perform in our office through Quest. The physical and monthly membership is an out of pocket cost as we are not considered an in-network physician.
Yes, we advise to keep your health insurance to use for prescription medications at the pharmacy, to use if you need to see a specialist, or if you needed any ER or hospital care.
The difference with membership based services is we can limit the doctor to patient ratio, therefore allowing more time with your dedicated physician. We want your visit to be extraordinary every time. Follow up appointment times vary based on the visit type but typically the doctor will spend no less than an hour with you.
We start seeing teens over 16 years old. We also have a lot of college students who like to know they can be treated virtually if they get sick while away at school. This also gives parents peace of mind that they have a doctor their children can call and get immediate care.
We have a 24 / 7 answering service that will take your message and contact the appropriate staff if it’s outside of office hours.
